Meet Sara Pierson! Sara is the Marketing & Business Development Manager at Fraser Stryker PC LLO in Omaha, Nebraska, and she serves on the Midwest Regional Board as a Director-At-Large. In addition to her favorite thing about being an LMA member, Sara shares more about her dogs, Lucy and Lola, her favorite vacation to Savannah, Georgia, and more.
Tell us your story – where do you work and what do you do?
I am the Marketing and Business Development Manager for Fraser Stryker PC LLO, a full-service law firm out of Omaha, NE. My legal marketing career began in October 2019, and I’ve been full-steam ahead ever since!
What is your favorite thing about being an LMA member?
The camaraderie and fellowship with other legal marketers across the region, country, and world!
What are your hobbies?
Does acting as a taxi for the teenager/pre-teen count as a hobby? 🙂 In what little spare time I have, I enjoy golfing, gardening, traveling with my boyfriend, and trying out new restaurants and/or activities around town.

What was the best vacation you’ve ever been on?
Savannah, GA wins thus far! My boyfriend and I planned one activity for each of the 5 days we were there…but made a point not to pre-plan or Google “things to do in Savannah” beforehand. It made waking up each morning the start of a new adventure. We didn’t know where we were going or where we were going to end up until we got there, most of the time by foot (walking over 20 miles while we were there!).
Not having a clue what we were doing made the “planner” in me anxious at first, but it was honestly the most freeing vacation ever! Plus, old Savannah is just a magical place. I highly, highly recommend it!

What travel spot is on your bucket list?
In the States: New York, Maine, Idaho, and the Smokey Mountains. Overseas: The Mediterranean, Greece, Italy, Thailand, and Germany.
What was your first live concert?
Backstreet Boys
What TV show are you currently streaming?
Since Ted Lasso is done…90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days (such a guilty pleasure of mine!)
If you could appear on any game show, which one would you choose?
The Price Is Right (in the 90’s with Bob Barker)
What’s your favorite movie?
Notebook – gets me every time…
If you could trade places with a Marvel Super Hero (or villain!) for a day, who would it be?
Iron Man…cause why not have that much charm and swagger for a day?
Do you have any pets? If so, what’s your favorite thing about them?
A goldendoodle named Lucy and my boyfriend’s dog, a shepherd mix named Lola. Lucy’s 6 years old, but still has the energy of a 6-month-old…and although Lola is older, she still surprises us with little spurts of her goofy, quirky side.

What did you have for breakfast this morning?
Egg and sausage sandwich…thanks Costco!
What’s your favorite dessert?
Chocolate anything!
Which 3 famous people would you invite to a dinner party?
Harrison Ford, Jason Sudeikis, and Brett Goldstein
Pick one word to describe your “why.” What motivates you in your career and personal life?
My family is my top motivator. They inspire me, push me to do bigger things, and are my biggest cheerleaders!
Tell us something unique about your law firm or business.
The firm is celebrating our 125th anniversary this year! Our namesakes, Fraser and Stryker, have played unique roles within history, with W.C. Fraser being one of the individuals who worked with the state legislature to establish Nebraska as the first all-public power state, and Hird Stryker, Sr., serving as one of the Nebraska Delegates present at the founding of the American Legion during the 1919 St. Louis Caucus.
What’s one of your proudest accomplishments in your career?
Leading the efforts of our firm’s rebrand and website launch earlier this year! Anyone who has gone through it knows that it’s a huge undertaking, but I learned a lot about the process, about marketing, and about myself both personally and professionally along the way.
How has LMA helped you accomplish your career goals?
LMA has pushed me to become a more well-rounded and experienced marketer. From the array of available educational programming and attending the Annual Conference in 2022 to the amazing colleagues who have turned into friends, and serving on the LMA Midwest Regional Governing Board, I can’t imagine where I would be in my professional development without the help, advice, guidance, and support I’ve received from the LMA community!
What’s the best career advice that someone has ever given you?
It’s not advice I’ve been giving, but a quote that I love: “The test of success is not what you do when you are on top. Success is how high you bounce when you hit the bottom.” – George S. Patton Jr.
